What is the Pip Spread with CBFX?

The CBFX spread is 3 pips on all currencies.There is a transaction fee: $1.25 per round turn trade.

What Currency Pairs are Available?

CBFX offers trading in the following currency pairs: EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, USD/CHF, USD/CAD, AUD/USD, EUR/GBP, EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY and EUR/CHF.

What are the Standard Lot Sizes?

All trades are sized in 10,000 “units” of the base currency, (ie. USD/JPY is $10,000). All of the trades are numbered in terms of ‘lots’.

Is This a Mini Platform?

It is both a mini and a full-size platform. Traders can trade from $10,000 to $5 million online without commissions and 5 pip spreads.

What is the Maximum Amount I can Trade Online?

The maximum trade size available online is 500 lots or 5 million units of the base currency. Trades in excess of 500 lots must be executed over the phone with one of the CBFX dealers.

What is “Price-Shifting”?

Price-shifting is the practice of offering a client a BUY or SELL price that is not reflective of where the market is actually trading. The shift is always to the advantage of the broker and the purpose is obvious. The practice is common and, unfortunately, legal.

Are Client Funds Protected and Insured?

All deposits are held by the Commerce Bank at the Commerce Bank and Trust of Massachusetts and are FDIC insured . All funds are deposited with the Commerce Bank Foreign Exchange Dept. and not with Informforex Ltd.

Can I Trade With a MacIntosh?

Yes, you can trade on the CBFX platform with a MacIntosh if you have OS 10 or higher and are using Netscape 7 or higher. On a Mac, you can even choose your look and feel, such as UNIX, Mac, by Windows, Java, etc.
